When
capacitors C140 and C141 (figure 2 below) were
replaced the voltage in the purple line dropped to
9V.The negative producing capacitor was questionable
because a few people suggest bad negative power
supply.
All
transistors were tested with a logic probe and
compared to new transistors. They function in
identical fashion to new transistors. This probably
indicates no problems with transistors. Resistors in
the purple line and some beyond were removed and
check outside. They all checked fine.
What
is my next suspect? Id be happy for any
practical or unpractical suggestions. I wish I had
variacs, tracers and logic probes. I will save up for
them.
